Chỉ hoàn cảnh người làm nghề nào thường bị nghề ấy chi phối, sai khiến hoặc đẩy đưa vào những cách xử sự nhất định. Thường dùng để nói cái thế bị nghề nghiệp ràng buộc, khó làm khác.
